Privacy policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This policy explains how Cherry Lane Marketing LLC ("Cherry Lane," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit cherrylanemarketing.com, contact us, book a call, or use our client reporting portal.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form or strategy-call form, we collect your name, email, phone number, company, job title, website, the services you select, whether you run paid ads, your approximate ad spend and anything you write in the message box.
- Booking information. Calls are scheduled through Calendly. When you book, Calendly receives your name, email, the time you choose and your answers to booking questions, and creates an event on our calendar.
- How you found us. We record campaign information from the link you used to reach our site (such as UTM tags and ad click identifiers), the page you landed on and the referring website.
- Usage data and cookies. Our site uses cookies and similar technologies from Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn to measure visits, understand which ads lead to inquiries and booked calls, and show relevant ads.
- Client portal. If you are a client, we store your login email and the settings for your dashboard. Your dashboards display data from advertising and analytics accounts you have authorized us to access.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry, schedule and prepare for calls, and send proposals you ask for.
- To provide our services, including client reporting dashboards.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising, including reporting conversions (such as form submissions and booked calls) to ad platforms.
- To keep our site and portal secure and to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, under their own privacy and security commitments, including: hosting and database providers (Vercel, Supabase), scheduling (Calendly), email delivery, Google, Meta and LinkedIn for analytics and advertising measurement. We may also share information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Advertising and your choices
Ad platforms may use cookies and identifiers to measure our ads and show you ads based on your visit. You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings, your device's advertising settings, and the ad preferences in your Google, Meta and LinkedIn accounts. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and use industry opt-out tools such as optout.aboutads.info.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and booking information as long as needed to respond, provide services and keep reasonable business records, and then delete or anonymize it. Client portal access is removed when an engagement ends or on request.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for marketing. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Email us and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls and restricted database access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Our site and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the date at the top when we do.
